Ansley Park

Ansley Park Historic District is an early 20th century suburban residential district that was developed in 1904 as the dream of Edwin P. Ansley. Ansley envisioned a motorcar oriented suburb of wide, winding streets and green parks that would attract Atlanta's most prestigious families. In fact, the neighborhood was home to Georgia's Governors Mansion for many decades.

It is located north of downtown Atlanta and west of Piedmont Park and features numerous parks, curvilinear arrangement of streets, and a wide range of architectural styles including Colonial, Federal, Neo-Classical, Italian Renaissance, Queen Anne, Tudor Styles, as well as Prairie School and Craftsmen bungalows. As for scale, houses range from one story cottages to two story houses to three story mansions and larger apartment buildings. The Ansley Golf Club borders the district.

Ansley Park residents are zoned to schools in the Atlanta Public Schools.
